Preface paradox warning: I doubt these are the best albums of 2024. But here are my favorite albums of 2024. Really, the test is whether I kept listening to these albums despite my obsession with finding new music. No particular order here, and I’ve tried not to duplicate tracks that were on previous mixes. (And, for what it’s worth, I don’t look at other lists before I’ve made mine. )
